Thank You Sponsors

This is a view of Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School's football field while replacing the turf.

They were perfecting the base for the new turf that was installed.  In any project, your base is crucial.  Jesus said "You are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my Church." Matthew 16:18.

In the future, Crusader Junior Football players will be the rock that Kapaun will build great teams upon. The knowledge and skills they gain now will allow players to contribute sooner to Kapaun's football program when they arrive. In addition, our team's work now will pay dividends during future Friday nights.  This year, we had close to 100 tackle football players from 3rd to 6th grade ready for practice to start.  We also had many 1st and 2nd-grade flag players looking forward to putting pads on in the future.

Good Football Team Rules

2004 Kansas Sports Hall of Fame inductee Eddie Kriwiel was the KMC Head football coach from 1969-1990. Before that he coached at Wichita West for 14 years.   Kriwiel won 297 games as a high school football coach and his teams had just two losing seasons in 36 years. His teams played in 12 state championship games and won 9. The picture shows his General Rules for a Good Team.
