2025 Tackle Season Information

Practices are usually on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm - 8 pm at KMC.

We have tackle teams at 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th grades.   After Crusader Jr. Football, for 7th & 8th grades, play for their school teams.  

• Football cleats - no metal spikes allowed.
• Royal blue mesh practice jersey & white practice pants with integrated pads.
• White  pants with integrated pads that will be used for games.
• Mouthpiece - must be worn during practices and games
• Padded Chin Strap (optional)- must align with team colors.
• Water Jug - 32oz or greater, must bring to every game and practice.

• Helment
• Shoulder Pads
• Reversible game jersey 

All equipment above must be returned at the end of the season or you will be charged for equipment replacement

Can I provide my own equipment?  Yes, however it does need to be inspected by and approved by a Crusader Jr. Football board member.  Also, helmet must be white.

Regular season games begin  Saturday, September 6th, 2025

Last games should be at the end of October.

There will be home and away games.

Games can take place any team location within the Mid States league.

Parents must volunteer to help at home games. Help with things like set up and clean up, running the clock, and helping in the concession stand.

Coaches are all volunteers and are certified by USA Football.  If interest in helping please fill out our coaching application.

Per league rules, teams must stay with in the district. Our district is the East side of Wichita Catholic school and church members who would normally attend Kapaun Mt. Carmel for their high school.
